Kawasaki has taken a bike that was already very very good and made it even better for xxxx!
Kawasaki has updated the transmission with a shorter 1st gear that makes the bike harder to stall. Next Kawasaki revised seat shape it is now narrower at the front making it easier for shorter riders to reach the ground. Kawasaki did not forget about the passenger either with a new seat shape for the passenger that is flatter and does not slope forward as much as before to keep the passenger from sliding forward as well as an new non slip seat cover that is double stitched and rubber has been added to the passenger footrests. Kawasaki revised the FI mapping to compliment the transmission changes as well as changes to the catalyst in the exhaust. Then Kawasaki added an adjustable vent to the windshield to reduce buffeting. Lastly Kawasaki revised the K-ACT active braking system for less of a linked feel at slower speeds.
